Sydney has become the centre of the universe when it comes to our families. They love her so much and she is already massively spoiled. We have never had so many family visitors as we have had in the last two weeks. We love it.
As much as we love our daughter, it is nice to let other people hold her sometimes. Our families have also been incredibly supportive since her birth. I have struggled with postpartum pain and illness and we could not have survived without them.
As I write this right now my mom is passed out on the couch holding Sydney as she sleeps. It is moments like this when we realize how important it is to keep your family close and appreciate that a new child means so much to entire family.
