I am so stressed. We have been really making an effort to get our housing situation sorted out.
We have spent the last few weeks going absolutely crazy, searching for a house, packing, cleaning, dealing with lawyers and realtors and selling our condo. After looking at about thirty houses we finally settled on one that we felt could be our home. We made an offer and it was accepted and we could not be happier.
Our happiness turned to frustration when we found out during the inspection that there were issues with water in the basement. I am not talking about a small amount of water... I mean a massive amount of water coming through the walls. We went back to the current owners and told them that we would only buy the house if they agreed to pay for the basement fix. I honestly did not think that they would agree to it... but they did!
We are now the proud owners of this very nice, very beige house:

New laminate flooring is already on it's way and I have painted our bedroom and Sydney's bedroom with the help of my mother in law. We have a lot of plans for this new house and I can't wait to share all of them with you!

That house was SO BEIGE. Steve and I wondered if anyone was going to ever buy the darn thing. :)
ReplyDeleteNow you need to post photos of the ravine area - because face it THAT is the BEST PART of this neighborhood. That and of course the cool neighbors that are 5 doors west. :)
