Whoohoo! I am only about a week behind on blogging!
We have been enjoying a schedule packed with summer events lately and even though I am often exhausted, it is completely worth it. The kids love being busy and last weekend we attended the perfect event for them. Our company puts on a huge annual picnic that is geared towards families with every fun activity that you could imagine. There were rides, prizes, races, face painting, petting zoo, popcorn, balloon animals and pony rides. We managed to take part in almost all of it and Sydney would have stayed all day if I let her. The only problem was that I was lying solo and trying to wrangle two kids through this kind of a day was A LOT of work. Luckily I had a few incredible co-workers who helped me when I needed it. Even Henry rode a pony and held a bunny.... co cute!
