#yegpriderun

When you have friends who run great races, you have a great time.

This year we got to take part in the first ever Edmonton Pride run in conjunction with Edmonton Pride week. Two of David's friends from the November Project organized the entire event. They are first time race organizers and we were so impressed by how smooth everything was. They had some big local sponsors and a lot of fun swag and music. They also had a fully sponsored BBQ after the race for athletes and spectators.

With the music pumping and games available, the kids were always occupied. They spent a lot of time dancing with the girls from a local radio station and scarfed down a couple of hot dogs. David had a great day and managed to come in sixth place. We even left with some freshly tagged November Project grassroots gear. All in all it was an incredible day! I encourage you to check out the race next year if you are local.... and don't forget to wear your rainbow gear!
