Yay Halloween!
In our house, Halloween is a very big deal. Before we had the kids I would make super elaborate costumes and we would attend multiple parties with friends. Now we look forward to carving pumpkins and trick or treating.
For Sydney's first Halloween we managed to get her inside of a pumpkin. This year is was Henry's turn. Sydney has turned into a bit of a wimp when it comes to carving pumpkins. She refuses to put her hand into the pumpkin and gets very grossed out. Henry could have cared less about getting messy.
I love that this is just another one of those amazing traditions we are starting as a family. I can already see ahead to the years when they are old enough to carve their own pumpkins and help me roast the seeds. There is just something about being covered in pumpkin gunk up to your elbows with smiling kids.
