Healthy Snacking

Well, the post-baby weight loss adventure has begun for me.

I knew that when I had babies I would struggle with weight gain. It's in my genetics. This last pregnancy I gained a whopping 70lbs! That's insane! I have started tracking my food intake with My Fitness Pal and we have stocked the house with healthy foods. David is super supportive and is always willing to help me prep my meals if I am tied up with the kids.

The toughest part about losing weight after having a baby is that you are really not supposed to diet if you are breast feeding. I have to keep up my calorie intake while only eating healthy foods.... that's a lot of food! I am eating almost all day so healthy snaking is crucial. One of my favourite snacks is 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and one granny smith apple.... delicious! Wish me luck in the mission to find my pre-baby body!
